FUND RAISING
Introduction
The Group needs to raise funds of around £10,000 per year to cover general running costs and provide for new equipment and major repairs when they become necessary in the building.
The Scout Group operates many schemes to achieve this. The major schemes are:

The Group also has a fund raising committee to oversee and manage its fund raising activities consisting of a chairperson and team of helpers.

The Group is active in many fund raising activities, both in conjunction with other organisations and by itself. Future fundraising events can be found in the calendar and the results of past events can be found under reports and photo’s.
The group are involved in a number of recycling initiatives.
The group receives a third of the District Council Recycling Credits given to Kesgrave Town Council for papers, glass, cans and old clothing collected at the Kesgrave Tesco recycling banks. This amounts to around £350 per annum towards group funds. So please dispose of your newspapers etc at Tesco. Every little helps.
