Young people can join Scouts at 10½ and leave at 14 years old. Scouts work for a number of award schemes and proficiency badges with the ultimate achievement being the Chief Scouts Gold Award. There are a number of camps throughout the year and the opportunity to try numerous activities such as canoeing, cycling, climbing, archery, shooting, cooking and hiking.
