Children may join Beavers when they are 6 years old and remain in the section until they are 8.
Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family and the children undertake a wide variety of activitiea based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends. They also work for badges.
Whenever possible we also offer the children the chance to camp with a parent to see at first hand what happens when the older children go to camp.
