If you are having trouble finding the time to sew on badges we can help. For a donation (say 50p per badge), which will go to Group funds, we have volunteers ready and able to complete this task.

500 Club

We run a 500 Club, with monthly draws and we are always in need of new members, you just need to set up a monthly standing order with each number costing just £1 and then you stand a chance to win a proportion of the monthly takings.

Cycle Safety Reminder

As the nights are now drawing in, please could I remind you to please make sure you and all members arrive and leave with a helmet and lights on bikes as this is a legal requirement. Reflective clothing should also be worn.

This is also for the safety of both members and to alert drivers to members leaving the car park.

There has been a recent incident where a police officer and parent had a near-miss with a young person leaving the hall with no lights or helmet. Thankfully no one was injured.

Payment Options

Most payments for activities and fees are now made electronically either by BACS, credit/debit card or Direct Debit. Please see below for details and alternative methods.

Direct Debit and Gocardless

We use our online system called OSM (Online Scout Manager) to handle nearly all the requests from the Group for payments for fees, events and activities. When you recieve a payment request you will have the option of setting up a Direct Debit for all future payments or just making a one off payment.

Bank Transfers

For bank transfers please pay to:

and if possible reference with your child's name and event.

Paypal and credit/debit cards

Occaionally we will take payments for an event using Paypal or sumup and then you will have the option to pay by credit/debit cards. For this please click the payment link contained in invite emails sent to you.

Cash

For cash payments the cash must be put in an envelope marked with your child's name and event and returned to your Section Leader, or the "Celia's" post box by the lift in the hall entrance.

Please note that if cash is left loose and not put in an envelope then it will not be allocated to the event but will be treated as a donation.

Cheques

For cheques please make it payable to 1st Kesgrave Scout Group and put in an envelope marked with your child's name and event and return to your Section Leadern or send to Celia Comber at 7 Quantock Close, Rushmere St Andrew, Ipswich, IP5 1AS.
